Position Title: Commissioned Officer – Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality patient care in military hospitals and field medical units
  • Administer medications, manage wound care, assist in surgeries
  • Support doctors during emergency and routine procedures
  • Lead and supervise junior nursing staff and medical technicians
  • Maintain medical records and ensure infection control standards
  • Participate in disaster relief missions, field camps, and overseas peacekeeping (when applicable)

📘 Educational Qualifications & Skills

  • Option 1: BSc Nursing (4-year program) from a PNC-recognized institute
  • Option 2: FSC (Pre-Medical) with 50%+ marks + Nursing/ Midwifery Diploma
  • Valid PNC registration (Pakistan Nursing Council)
  • Must have passed Matric with Science
  • Good physical fitness and mental resilience
  • Basic IT and English communication skills preferred
  • Willingness to work in high-pressure and challenging environments

📂 Eligibility Criteria

  • Gender: Female only
  • Marital Status: Single (BSc Nursing applicants); Married/unmarried/widowed (Diploma applicants)
  • Nationality: Pakistani only
  • Minimum Height: 5 feet (152 cm)
  • Weight: As per BMI standards
  • Medical Fitness: Must clear GHQ medical examination
  • Training Commitment: Willing to serve under Army bond terms post-commissioning
